Internet of Things and Smart environment
With the help of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, it is possible to predict and remotely monitor the state of human health; fit people’s lives by surrounding them with smart devices; influence the level of environmental friendliness and efficiency of production and agriculture. At the school, we will study what global challenges the IoT industry faces, what difficulties it faces, where the development of science in this area leads. Participants will personally try themselves at IoT technologies and gain project work skills in groups, working on tasks that stand on the frontier of science.
Settlements of the future
In the future there will be two types of settlements: the smart cities and the autonomous rural settlements. Both will face the same challenges: how to adapt to climate change, how to manage their transportation, energy needs, water and waste. Both will be filled with advanced tech and smart buildings.

What will you choose to build?
AI-controlled public transportation or high-speed delivery drones?

Smart Grids of solar panels and wind turbines or microhydroelectic power plants?

Passive buildings augmented with IoT or smart farms with drip irrigation?

A green heat shield for the cities or aquifer management structures that collect water and protect from drought?

Take the cues from the present and start designing a better future for the people wherever they live.
Technologies in education
The world around us is changing, and therefore the education system has to be changed in order to keep up with the modern economy and help people fulfill themselves in our BANI-world. Nowadays education has to compete harder than before with other areas of life for human attention.

Let's come up with projects that will help make education more modern - the way we ourselves would like to see it (hypotheses: technological, individualized, empathic, collaborative, lifelong learning).
